Mahindra Thar Roxx Finally Enters The Market With A Brilliant Design and Amazing Power
The long-awaited Mahindra Thar Roxx has finally crossed the launch line, echoing back to a mélange of sculpted design and quite some power in itself. As already renowned in India’s offroader fraternity, the Thar underwent a significant transformation with the Roxx edition. It’s not just an aesthetic upgrade but an all-new approach in terms of powertrain, capabilities, and contemporary modern tech features.
New Specs
With two options of engines available: a 2.2-liter mHawk diesel and 2.0-liter mStallion petrol, Thar Roxx is provided with an output of 150-200 bhp. The car is available with six-speed manual and automatic transmission, providing variant versatility and control while in movement. The car also sports a 4×4 drivetrain along with the electronic locking differential and advanced safety features such as hill descent control.
The Roxx is available both inside and outside with aggressive and refined styling, and the interior of course has seen more enhancement on both style and functionality. It can also boast of premium underpinnings such as infotainment system, multi-function steering, and higher ground clearances for off-road capabilities.
Thar Roxx Price
Mahindra is offering the Thar Roxx in six trims, namely MX1, MX3, MX5, AX3L, AX5L, and AX7L. The company has started the price at ₹ 12.99 lakh for the petrol variant and ₹ 13.99 lakh for the diesel variants. Prices move the ladder with different variants and feature list, and it represents the premium version of the vehicle.
Comparison with Old Thar
Thar Roxx is a complete redesign in both power and tech compared to the old model. It offered its predecessor, the old Thar, which had a 2.2-litre diesel, sporting a performance of 130 bhp. Compared to this, the Roxx offers a power surge of up to 200 bhp. The difference lies in a more advanced drivetrain, better safety features, and a refined interior. Also, the design of this one is much more muscular and modern than the old one.
In terms of the off-road SUV market, Mahindra Thar Roxx really sets a game in motion. Powerful engine options combine with modern technology and lots of trims to make this vehicle a big sell over the older Thar-a premium vehicle that attracts adventure lovers-by pricing it more competitively, on as many as six trims, to fit the varied needs of customers.
