Next-Gen Toyota Fortuner Will Soon Arrive in the Indian Market: Know Its Expected Features, Price, Availability and More
The next generation of the Toyota Fortuner is in the making and is ready to hit the roads shortly. It would be one of the most awaited SUVs in India with a bolder look, improved technology, and even more potent engine options. Here’s what awaits the customers from the 2025 model of Toyota Fortuner.
Expected Features
As promised, the new Toyota Fortuner will be put across as having new design underpinnings, according to Toyota Global, this time inspired by the company’s global SUV line. Noticeable exterior features include an enlarged front grille and sleek LED headlights now built-in with daytime running lights. The vehicle will also ride on the TNGA-F, said to enhance both off-road and ride capabilities.
Inside, the 2025 Fortuner should boast a more premium, tech-savvy cabin. Expect to find features such as a larger infotainment touchscreen monitor, Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, dual-zone climate control, and wireless phone charging. Advanced safety features such as blind-spot monitoring, rear cross-traffic alert, and up to seven airbags should be offered.
Engines and Performance
For India, two engines are expected. This one will come in the form of a 2.8-liter turbocharged diesel, which would get support from a mild-hybrid system and deliver close to 201 bhp, with up to 500 Nm of torque on offer. The mild-hybrid system will reduce fuel efficiency by as much as 10% and will add a new dimension to performance with features like regenerative braking and all-electric driving in certain conditions.
The second engine option could be a 2.0-liter turbo-petrol variant that makes 235 bhp, tuned for customers who are looking for a performance-oriented ride. The two units will apparently be released with rear-wheel drive or four-wheel drive, this is to attract off-road enthusiasts of the Fortuner.
Pricing and Availability
The new Toyota Fortuner is supposed to make it into the Indian market by mid-2025. The price would be a little more than the present version due to all-inclusive upgrades. The base price would start at โน35 lakh and all the way to โน50 lakh for the top-of-the-line trim.
The 2025 Toyota Fortuner is bound to be on everyone’s dream car wish lists in the luxury SUV segment. This is because it promises to bring power, luxury, and reliability all into one package. Its new generation promises a high-tech blend of fresh features with more outstanding performance to attract off-road goers, as well as urban dwellers, to the market.
