Realme has achieved a new milestone in the field of technology by launching the MediaTek Dimensity 8400 chipset globally for the first time. Soon after MediaTek’s new product launch conference, Realme also announced the Dimensity 8400 Endurance Ares co-creation plan.

The Dimensity 8400 chipset is MediaTek’s most advanced processor to date. This is the first chipset that comes with Cortex-A725 full-core architecture. It has a 10% improvement in single-core performance and up to 35% reduction in power consumption. This chip has 8 A725 CPU large cores, double L2 cache, 50% more L3 cache and 25% better system cache. Its multi-core score on GeekBench 6.2 is 6722.

Improvements in Power Consumption and Performance

The multi-core power consumption in Dimensity 8400 has been reduced by 44% compared to its previous version Dimensity 8300. It uses 24% less power in gaming. It also consumes up to 12%, 12% and 14% less energy in tasks like listening to music, video recording and social chatting respectively.

Improvements in Graphics and GPU

The Dimensity 8400 chipset is equipped with Arm Immortalis G720 MC7 GPU, which has a clock speed of 1.3GHz. It supports hardware ray tracing and 40% bandwidth optimization. The peak performance of its GPU is 24% better than the previous generation and power consumption has been reduced by up to 42%.
