Oppo Find X8 Ultra Receives Radio Certification in China, Launch Expected Q1 2025 with Premium Features
Oppo’s much-awaited flagship smartphone series Find X8’s new model Oppo Find X8 Ultra has recently received radio certification in China. With the model number PHK120, this phone has now become a topic of discussion. Oppo has already launched the Find X8 and Find X8 Pro with Dimensity 9400 chipset in the global market.
Now, news of the launch of Find X8 Ultra and Find X8 Next is coming out. According to reports, the Find X8 Ultra will be the most premium model of this series. At the same time, the Find X8 Next will be introduced with a compact form factor.
Radio Certification and Expected Launch Date
The Oppo PHK120 model has recently been approved on China’s radio certification platform. The device supports satellite connectivity, which indicates its advanced technology. Reliable Chinese sources like Digital Chat Station and WHYLAB have confirmed that this model is the Oppo Find X8 Ultra.
It is expected that the Find X8 Ultra will launch during Q1 2025. Its launch is expected after the Chinese New Year (Spring Festival), i.e. in February or March 2025. In the coming weeks, this phone can also pass other certification processes like 3C and TENAA.
Key Features of Oppo Find X8 Ultra
The biggest feature of this phone will be its Snapdragon 8 Elite chipset, which will guarantee ultra-high performance. Also, it will have a setup of dual periscope telephoto cameras.
Talking about the camera setup of the Find X8 Ultra, it will include four 50-megapixel sensors:
- LYT-900 primary camera with OIS (optical image stabilization) support.
- Sony IMX882 ultra-wide lens.
- LYT-701 periscope telephoto camera with 75mm focal length and OIS.
- IMX882 periscope telephoto camera with 150mm focal length and OIS support.
According to Digital Chat Station, the imaging system of the phone has been finalized. It will have a one-inch dual-focal length dual-mid-bottom periscope camera setup and a Hasselblad multi-spectral sensor.
Other Features
The Find X8 Ultra will feature a 6.82-inch 2K OLED display, which will support 120Hz refresh rate. Additionally, it will get support for a large 6,000mAh battery, 100W wired charging and 50W wireless charging. The device will launch with Android 15-based ColorOS 15. Also, it will have an ultrasonic in-screen fingerprint sensor.
The advanced technology of the Oppo Find X8 Ultra, such as Tiantong-1 satellite connectivity and Hasselblad-certified camera system, make it a unique device in the market. It will be interesting to see how this phone will compete in the market once it is launched in February or March 2025.
