iPhone 16E Leaked: Apple’s Budget Phone with Notch Display and First 5G Baseband
Recently a big news has come out about Apple’s new smartphone. According to ITBear China, the iPhone SE 4 will no longer come under the name of the SE series. Instead, it will be introduced as the iPhone 16E. This is the first time Apple has used the “E” prefix in one of its models.
Design and Display
The design of the iPhone 16E is said to be similar to the iPhone 16. It will have a 6.1-inch notched OLED full-screen display, which will give a great visual experience. With this, Face ID support will be available, which will make unlocking the phone even easier.
Interface and Camera
The new iPhone 16E uses a USB-C port, which will give more convenience to users in terms of charging and data transfer. Talking about the camera, it will come with a single rear camera like the iPhone SE series. However, there will be no reduction in its performance due to other features.
Processor and RAM
The iPhone 16E will be offered with Apple’s latest A18 processor and 8GB of RAM. This configuration will not only deliver faster and smoother performance, but will also better support Apple’s AI-based smart features.
Apple’s 5G Baseband for the first time
The biggest feature is that the iPhone 16E will be Apple’s first smartphone to have its own developed 5G baseband. This move is part of Apple’s larger plan to gradually replace Qualcomm’s baseband.
